About the Certificate Programs ...
Who
should enroll in the Certificate Programs?
The Certificate Programs would be beneficial to
everyone who would like to learn more about the Bible, or would like to train
for a specific church ministry.
Why would I enroll in a Certificate Program instead of an
Academic Program?
The Certificate Programs are for those who wish to
continue their education to fulfill a specific need. For example, if you
already have a diploma in Bible, but wish to learn more about
Counseling, you may want to enroll in the Christian Counseling
Certificate Program. Maybe you don't have a diploma, but you want to
learn more about the word of God, then you would want to enroll in the
Bible Certificate Program. The Certificate programs are
especially designed to prepare you to serve the Lord in a supporting
ministry of the church.
What types of courses are offered in the Certificate
Programs?
The courses that are offered in the Certificate
Programs are the specialty courses from the academic programs. They are
designed to teach very practical truths used by workers in a local church.
For example, the Christian Education Certificate Program teaches
students how to work with Children, Youth and Adults, in Sunday
School and many other educational activities associated with the church. The
Bible Certificate Program will give you a good understanding of the
Scriptures.
Do the courses I take in a certificate
program count toward future diploma requirements?
Absolutely! All of the courses offered in the certificate
programs are key courses from our Bachelors level diploma. If, after
completing a certificate, you desire to continue toward a Bachelor's or
Associate's diploma the units earned all count toward the diploma
requirements.
I have not
graduated from High School. Can I still enroll in the Certificate Programs?
Yes you can! This situation will be handled on
a case by case basis so please contact the school, but all certificates can
be earned without a high school diploma. However, the units earned cannot be
applied to a Bachelor's level diploma until a high school diploma, GED, or
equivalent is earned.
